About a third of the way in, I started to get a little uncomfortable with the power dynamics at play, and that ended up being the book’s downfall for me. The opposites attract dynamic worked, and it definitely felt like a spicy play on The Princess Diaries or My Fair Lady. Our hero is intense and loyal to a fault, so he does his best to resist this overtly sexual and persistent heroine.

I really enjoyed the first 30ish%, with its crackling chemistry and TONS of sexual tension. This is something a little different from Quinn, though it still feels like one of her steamy rom coms. We might have made it through the last few months together, but now I'm not sure we're going to make it out of this alive.It started off strong, but my interest had fizzled by the end.
